Juxtaposed Details b b Wood Print

The idea here is to create a group of images that go together starting with a core image like this one made up of juxtaposed details from two separate hand drawn ballpoint drawings of mine. Hopefully one of these images will warrant the printing of a canvas print that will receive additional hand drawn ballpoint graphics and which will generate additional stages as well. It’s basically stream of consciousness art played out in stages of mixed media pieces.

I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin which I still call home. In 1994 I graduated with an art degree--among other things--from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. For many years I was known mostly for my ballpoint on bedsheet drawings one of which made it into a major show at Ameircan Visionery in Baltimore. In recent years I have done many ballpoint digital images and have done some distorted selfie’s which I intend to have printed on canvas and then proceed to add a ballpoint graphic thereby creating some mixed medium drawings. I intend to do more of these photos that sport a ballpoint graphic in the future.
