This digitally altered ballpoint drawing is from the “ I Left All My Chocolate In Pittsburgh “ family of images. I have another similarly shaped image from that large family on my living room wall - a 30 by 30 inch canvas print. I was looking at the very detailed image the other day and the thought occurred - this could be an abstract representation of an actual universe. Which is how I arrived at the title
I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin which I still call home. In 1994 I graduated with an art degree--among other things--from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. For many years I was known mostly for my ballpoint on bedsheet drawings one of which made it into a major show at Ameircan Visionery in Baltimore. In recent years I have done many ballpoint digital images and have done some distorted selfie’s which I intend to have printed on canvas and then proceed to add a ballpoint graphic thereby creating some mixed medium drawings. I intend to do more of these photos that sport a ballpoint graphic in the future.
